Jhinge Bata recipe. Ridge gourd Bharta / mashed recipe. Simple but tasty recipe.



Ingredients :

  • 500 Grams Tori / Jhinge.

  • 1 Tablespoon Garlic minced.

  • 3-4 Green Chilies.

  • 1 Tablespoon Nigella Seeds / Kalonji

  • 2 stalk coriander leaves

  • Salt.

  • 3 Tablespoons Mustard Oil.

Instructions :

1. Scrape ridge gourd

2. In very little water boil jhinga / torai / ridge gourd for 3-4 minutes to soften.Drain.

3. Mix all ingredients , grind to a coarse paste , sprinkle minced green chilies if you like.

4. Generously drizzle raw mustard oil in a pan on low flame and cook the paste till the water dries up and the jhinga bata is ready and eat with rice !

Lemon Butter Garlic Chicken is a delicious quick dinner idea that is flavorful and easy preparation. It can be made in one skillet and can be served for lunch or dinner.





Ingredients

  • 4 Whole Chicken Leg

  • 1/2 cup Lemon Juice

  • 4 tsp Garlic (minced)

  • 2 tsp chopped green chillies

  • Salt (to taste)

  • Black Pepper Powder (to taste)

  • 4 tbsp Cold Butter

  • 4 tbsp coriander (chopped)

  • 2 tbsp soya sauce

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 2 tbsp refined flour

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients with chicken in a bowl.

  • Heat butter in a grill skillet.

  • Add the chicken in the grill pan and cook for 15 minutes on each side until l nicely browned in micro+grill oven @140 C

  • Remove chicken in plate once done and keep aside.

  • Add the remaining extract to make the sauce in another pan.

  • Cook until the sauce is reduced to 1/3rd.

  • Add butter , flour and cook until everything comes together.

  • Pour the sauce over the chicken pieces.

  • Serve hot.

These drumsticks get their great flavor and golden color from the tasty, easy-to-prepare marinade.


Ingredients

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp Sugar

  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed

  • 2 tsp finely grated fresh ginger

  • 1 teaspoon butter

  • 12 chicken drumsticks

  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds

  • ¼ cup sweet chilli sauce

  • 2 tsp black sesame seeds

Instructions:

  1. Combine the soy sauce, sugar, garlic, ginger and oil in a small saucepan. Bring to the boil over a medium heat, then cook for 3-4 minutes, or until thickened.

  2. Cut 2-3 slashes into the top of each drumstick. Pour the sauce over the chicken and turn drumsticks several times to coat thoroughly. Sprinkle the sesame seeds over all sides of the drumsticks.

  3. Place a pan and add coated chicken, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through for 30 mins in low flame .If the teriyaki sauce starts to darken too much, add quarter cup of water at a time.

  4. Combine chilli sauce and oil in a small bowl for the slaw.

  5. Gently stir through the dressing. Serve drumsticks with the slaw.
